Payton Burkum '28 Recruiting Profile

I've always wanted to play hockey for the college that I am furthering my knowledge at, for my future profession. I am strong physically and passionate about putting into action a coaches desires for his team. I feel I am different from all the other players I have encountered thus far due to my mental and physical capacity; they match each other. I am able to withstand the ups and downs of each game situation and still strive to be our team's best for what we need out of a goalie and a leader. Academically I feel I stand out with my inquisitive mind, skills, interest in all things, and need to always be trying to understand things from many different directions. I am well-rounded and enjoy the trip, not just the destination.
