Dakota Johnson '20 Recruiting Profile

Over the years, I have become a smart, skilled forward and am able to execute plays at a very high speed.  I have excellent vision while on the ice and am able to help create offensive opportunities.   Being a team player and working well with my line mates is one attribute that I’m proud to bring to any team I play on. I am a multi-sport athlete, playing sports for my Christian school Varsity soccer and basketball teams.  On many teams throughout my sports career, I have found myself in leadership roles as Captain and take this responsibility very seriously.

While playing school sports and hockey for my AAA team, I always put my school work first. Fortunately, I have been able to continue excelling academically and on each team I play on. I do believe that this type of work load and schedule will make me a stronger collegiate student-athlete.

It is my goal to play college hockey at the most competitive level that is available to me.  I am looking for a school that offers an exceptional English and creative writing program that will help me prepare for life after hockey.   I believe that I'll be able to find the right balance of competitive hockey and academic opportunities.

My greatest asset that I have to offer a coach, team and school is that I approach all that I do by being guided by my morals and values.
