“I hated every minute of training, but I said, ‘Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life a champion’. ” – Muhammad Ali
Thid quote is something I live by. Succees doesn’t come easy and no matter how hard the challenges become you always have to continue to work hard. I learned what the word adversity really means, suffering from a severe closed head concussion in the first round of state playoffs ending my season. I was upset and I didn’t know when I was going to return to play again. Adversity is defined as “difficulties; misfortune.” I could have not cared and not became stronger from this but during that time there was no quiting for me. I worked hard and bounced back , quitting will get you nowhere in life.
My goal is to succeed at hockey playing in the college level. I am willing to put in whatever it takes to achieve that goal. I am a team player as well as a strong player. My season stats as a freshman of the year 2017 were 12 goal and 5 assist. I get along with new people and open to others ideas.
