My Goal in life is to continually improve in school and at my sport to obtain the opportunity to play Junior or College Hockey while getting a great education. Both of these things I feel go together to be successful throughout life.
I am an extremely hard working determined person that when I set my mind to something I know I can accomplish it. There is no second place in my mind for either you win or loose and I strive to be on the winning side. In school, I strive to understand what I am being taught and performing at the top of my class. I have always remained on the honor role no mater how hectic my travel schedule was in Hockey or Soccer. Coming from winning teams, I know that in order to win the team needs to work together and respect each other including the coaches, we need to be a family. I know that I cannot do it alone, for it takes the entire team to work hard together to accomplish success. Throughout my athletic career I have been told I am extremely coach able. Well, when you have great coaches that you respect you automatically listen. I feel fortunate that I have been lucky enough to have been coached by great men that I consider my mentors. Even after I have moved on from their teams, they have encouraged me to keep in contact and show up at my games to support and critique me. I value all their advice as I feel I can learn from all their past experiences. I am very hard on myself at times and when I get down I know they are there off ice to pick me back up and to give me the confidence I need to move on. In school and in sports I feel that I need to understand why I am doing something rather than doing just what I am told. I feel I play better knowing all scenarios and reasons why I am to do it. I think it makes me a very smart player and eliminates mistakes.
On the ice I can see and predict situations which puts me in good positions to make a play.
I Love to Learn, I Love Hockey, and I Love to Succeed and I want to be Successful in Life.
