Gabriel Porteous-Brown '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing hockey since I was little and am playing at the AA level for the Newmarket Renegades (for 2022-23 season). I am very interested in achieving great heights in a college hockey team as well as academic success.

Although I am a goalie, I put in great efforts in my own game as well as leading my team. I am committed to learning and growing as a player under any coach who takes the opportunity to reach out to me as I am a hard-working and dedicated athlete.

When it comes to academics, I strive for a high level of grades to maintain a strong GPA. Additionally, I volunteer at local equipment exchange programs to help members of my community play hockey.

Overall, I am an athlete who is dedicated to my team, coaches and peers on the ice as well as teachers in the classroom. I am looking into any and all colleges to find the right program for me that can include my desire of playing high-level hockey. I am also hoping to show my hockey and leadership skills on the ice as well as off to my peers, teachers, coaches and parents.
