I have been a AAA Goalie playing Elite hockey for almost as long as I remember. Two years ago I was scouted to Play in the GTHL- one of the most competitive leagues in the world for youth hockey.
Life is not easy for anyone and I have been blessed enough to be surrounded by people who lift me up when things get hard. The rink has always been my sanctuary, my refuge. To be able to combine my passion for business, hockey and helping others would be the ultimate goal.
I was five years old when I started my first business, by the time I was 12 my dad helped me set up my first stock trade account. This has allowed me a way to give back to the community who looked after me.
Giving back is not all about finance , sometimes it is stepping up as a leader and encouraging others. Standing up for injustices and being brave enough to speak your mind. These traits earned me not only the Inspire Scholarship but also the scotia bank / NHL community leader recognition.
