Hello, my name is Jamieson Tschop McLaren and I was born on December 24, 2009. I am a Right Winger (also playing center). I attend Elmvale District High School to advance my studies while maintaining a 4.0 average. Academics and hockey take priority. I am open-minded and a coachable player who is always open to feedback and input in order to grow as a player and as a person. I have always been a hard working person on and off the ice when it comes to balancing academics and hockey. I have many strong attributes to offer a University/College team, including my high hockey IQ, shooting abilities, vision on the ice, and skating abilities, in particular with puck control/movement, having a good attitude, a high level of competition, and dedication to the sport. My parents and family, as well as the love of the game, are what motivate me to keep working hard. These are the reasons I keep pushing myself every day - in order to make them proud, advance to the next level, and one day compete in the NHL. In conclusion, I am a hard working student-athlete who is determined to play University/College hockey in the future.
