Hey there coaches and recruiters,
My name is Nikita Banetski. I am a 16-year-old centerman/right-wing playing for the Mississauga North Stars AA (GTHL).
I was originally born in Minsk, Belarus, and moved to Canada when I was 4 years old. I then started playing hockey at the age of 9 and worked my way up to where I am today.
I would describe myself as a very passionate player who's quick, smart, and communicative on the ice.
I am a dangerous player when it comes to playing in the offensive zone since:
- I create time and space for good scoring opportunities
- I have a very strong and accurate shot
- I use my speed and ability to read plays to pick off plays (especially on PK)
- I am not afraid to take a hit to make a play and battle in corners
I am also a very strong defensive forward since:
- I am able to read the opponent's play and pick it off, while also staying in position
- I am not afraid to block shots
- I am aggressive near the net, while also staying disciplined
Throughout my years in high school, I have proven to be a hard-working, responsible, and helpful student. I make sure to keep my grades at a good percentage (Grade 9 = 91.5%, Grade 10 = 92.1%, and Grade 11=94.5% for semester 1) so that I can establish good habits and work towards my goal of becoming a software/mechanical engineer.
Thanks for reading.
Sincerely,
Nikita Banetski
