Ally Mostafaie '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Ally Mostafaie and I am 15 years old (2007). I currently play AAA with the North York Rangers in Toronto, Ontario. I am a 5’10 165lbs winger. I am a right-handed shooter  who is dedicated to making an impact and improving all The time on and off the ice. I am a natural-born leader who always likes to make people around him better and it is my top priority to be the type of person and player that others want to be around. 

I started skating for the first time at age 7 and got into my first year of hockey at 8. I played 2 years of house league with the second year including select as well for the Thornhill Rebels Tier 1 team. From there, I played 3 straight years for the Toronto Avalanche A team winning the craft cup in our third year to be promoted to AA as a team where we changed our name to the Hillcrest Canadiens. After having a highly successful year in AA, the following season was interrupted by COVID-19 which cancelled our whole season. Thanks to this "stay at home" opportunity, I was able to focus all my time at home on improving and getting better by 1% every day at the sport I love. In 2021, when we were finally given the "green light" by the GTHL to have a full season, I used all the improvement and skills I gained over quarantine to tryout out for the North York Rangers AAA team, and fortunately for me, I was able to become a player in such a great organization. 

As you can see, I have been through lots in my hockey life just to get to where I am today, but to me, this is to the end. I have lots of ways to improve and do my very best to not only play to the next level but to exceed in it.
