I’m passionate about hockey, and I am excited about the idea of playing hockey while pursuing my academic goals and ambitions. My greatest attribute and significant contribution to any team or group is my ‘coachability’. I’m proud of my ability to take instruction, synthesize it, and execute it with a high degree of effectiveness.
I have represented my high school at the provincial level in swimming, I've been a member of a regional soccer team, as well as a part of my high school soccer, volleyball, badminton and hockey teams. The common theme is my ability to receive feedback and execute with precision. Additionally I have been able to use this skill outside of athletics, as I am the three time recipient of the Canadian National Conservatory of Music Silver Medal award winner for the highest mark in piano in Canada. This happened for grade 1, 3 and 7 level piano. Currently I am completing my grade 8 piano level.
Academically I am high achieving, and take pride in my strong work ethic which translates into impressive academic standing. I understand the meaning of hard work to realize goals and know that success takes time and effort.
