On the ice, as an alternate captain with the Cleveland Barons, my main strengths are that I am a "playmaker" and my "vision." Plus, no matter where I play, I usually make everyone around me better. Although I am normally a top-line forward (center or wing), the coach has often switched me to whatever line is struggling, successfully making that line perform better.
Off the ice, I am a junior at Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh. Even though I have commuted about five hours per day just for practices for the past two seasons, I have maintained academic "high honors" status (GPA 4.47 / 4.0). This year, I am taking a very difficult course load that includes two AP courses (Calculus and Statistics) and two Honors courses (Physics and History).
I am a motivated student athlete who demonstrates leadership skills, strong work ethic, discipline and the ability to multitask. As a Tier 1 AAA ice hockey player, I hope to play hockey at the collegiate level.
