Personal Statement

Hello my name Ethan, I’m 18 years old who loves playing the game hockey. I play for my varsity high school hockey team and I go to school at Tiverton high school in Tiverton Rhode Island. I would love to play college hockey and pursue my education and hockey career and would love to attend college. Hockey is my life and I’m 100% committed to hockey and my school work. I always work hard and play even harder.

The Game has been my life since I was five years old. When I was little I got my first goalie set for Christmas. I was so excited to start playing. Me and my dad would go in the basement every day after he came home from work and he would shoot on me with tennis balls helping me get better and better. He always told me that I have to work hard and stretch and have a good mindset. He has always supported me no matter what happens out on the ice. If I let in zero goals or twenty he will always be proud because I tried my hardest and that’s what matters and don‘t let it go to your head, always have a clear mind like the score is 0-0.

I’ve always wanted to go big and play professional hockey and pursue my dream of playing in the NHL. I can be a leader on and off the ice in the classroom and out. I can prove myself on and off the ice with my hard work and  dedication. Also a big aspect of my game is talking and communucation. Having good moral is the best for a team and that's what makes good chemistry.

Thank you to for taking the time to read this.

Sincerely,

Ethan Arruda

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
