Winning the South Dakota state championship was eye opening. However I did lose that next year but I feel that it will help me in the long run. What helped me find this sport is my mom's friend. He got my mom, my sister, and I into a stampede game. I loved it and wanted to play that for a long time. I learned a lot about myself from this sport like how to keep working even if it hurts, focus, and work as hard as you can until you can't then work that much harder. Once I started playing hockey i was instantly hooked and wanted to get better and eventually play at a college level or higher. I also want to serve in the United States air force as a pilot because both my parents and my grandpa served in the military.
