Determination, focus and respect define my actions on and off the ice. I push myself to be a better athlete, a better student and and a better person, each and every day.

Since I was six years old, I have loved the game of hockey. My goal has always been to play hockey at the collegiate level. This goal has been the primary factor pushing me to work hard, no matter the situation. You will find that I am respectful, coachable and am very aware that in order to be a dominate player, I must be willing to continually master old and new skills. Each time I am on the ice, I work hard to improve myself to help me reach the goal of  playing hockey at the highest level. Off the ice, I work just as hard by pushing myself during off season to become mentally and physically stronger. I also understand that hard work pays off in the classroom. Academically, I am determined and aim to be the best student-athlete I can be.

Respect is an integral part of my daily life - on the ice, in the classroom and in everyday life. My leadership style starts with respecting the game, my coaches, teammates and the process. My  focus motivates me to be better and helps lead my teammates to find success. My relentless determination drives me energize those around me to want to get better and ultimately, to win.
