Paul Burns '28 Recruiting Profile

Coaches - my name is Paul Burns and I am a 2028 midfielder and attack from Berkeley, CA.  I'm a proven goal-scorer at every level I've played, using my size (6'1" 195lbs), physical play and soft hands to put the ball in the net.  I have good north-south speed and am continuing to work my explosiveness when dodging from up top and behind the net.

This past spring I started every game as a freshman for the Berkeley High men's lacrosse team, scoring 33 goals and adding 10 assists as we went 18-4, winning our Conference (WACC) and pushed into the 2nd round of the CIF Playoffs. I was named 2nd Team All-League.

In the summer I played for ADVNC East Bay and ADVNC NDP NorCal.  We went coast-to-coast playing against great teams while winning games and a few tournaments along the way.  My favorite experience was playing in the Primetime HS Invitational on Yale's campus. 

At the end of the season I traveled to Bogota, Columbia with my ADVNC team to teach lacrosse at schools.  It was an incredible experience I hope I get to do again soon.

This fall and winter I'm excited to play in a number of big tournaments with ADVNC, including the WLF Fall Invitational, the OC Fall Brawl, the Blackjack in Vegas, the WLF Winter Championships and Sandstorm. I wear #25 for ADVNC East Bat and #21 for NDP NorCal.

My goal is to play lacrosse in college at the highest level possible on a great team, with great teammates and great coaching.  This is my dream and I'm working hard to make it happen.
