I grew up in a majority Mormon house hold. Growing up my family was big on discipline, respect, and holding yourself accountable. I believe this has made a huge impact on my life, it has influenced me to be the best man possible. After my freshman football season I noticed that I was not having the same fun or interest in the sport, I then decided to apply my self in a different sport. I then met my high school varsity coach who told me to come out and practice with the team. After my first practice I then admired the sport because it was know as a gentlemens sport. I then decided to put in all of my effort in to the sport. Throughout the years, I have been playing i find my self doing simple acts of kindness around my school and outside of my school. Lacrosse has taught me that everyone is the same and not one person is higher then another. Lacrosse has also taught me that in school you have to push yourself to succeed in all areas, and to ask for help if I need it. In college I plan on doing the same no matter what school I go to. When I was in 8th grade my Uncle committed suicide this was extremely hard for me as he was my best friend and role model. He taught me how a real man will do what ever he has to do to succeed. I could not express my feelings to my family this was the biggest obstacle of my life. This then taught me that my family and friends are more important then just myself. I feel like this taught me that the world does not revolve around me. My self character is a funny and nice to be around guy (as my friends say). I believe that I am a versatile person if you ask me to do something I will do it to the best of my ability. This has shown on and off the field by playing multiple positions and challenging myself academically as a lead on my high schools' yearbook staff.
