Hayden Shuster '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 2011 graduate from Sandpoint, Idaho. I have played lacrosse for five years and have a strong aspiration to play at the collegiate level. I am open to all options in colleges. I have a 4.0 G.P.A. and have taken many honors classes and AP classes including History, Biology, just to name a few. I expect to graduate in the top ten percent of my class. Our club team is only 5 years old; I started playing in 8th grade. However, our team has progressed quickly and lost in the state semifinals this year by 2 points. We are ranked #1 in the North Idaho Lacrosse League. I feel one of the reasons we have done so well is our strong defense. Myself, and two friends of mine played almost the entire season in defensive unison. We analyzed strong players, and shifted our defense accordingly, only allowing an average of 5.4 goals per game. I have gone to three lacrosse camps this summer, and improved my skills enormously. These camps; Top Star in Gettysburg, PA, Pioneer Lacrosse in Denver CO, and the Elite 80 Skills Camp at Gonzaga WA have taught me so much about playing lacrosse, and increased my passion for this sport. I have the ability to learn, and keep improving with every instruction.
