I started my lacrosse career freshman year at a two-year program. I took a huge leap of faith, by trying a new sport with no background knowledge what so ever. When I started lacrosse, It was first seen as pure interest. However, the more time I spent around the game, the more I became intrigued. I found myself asking my coaches endless questions, watching hours of youtube to learn more about the game, and just eager to get better overall. Improvement is my goal each year, and if you ask me, that is exactly what I am doing. I do anything I can to improve such as walking around the house cradling, playing wall ball to improve my stick skills, watching youtube videos, and more. My hard work has lead to positive outcomes. I went from a freshman who hardly knew anything about the game to a starting sophomore, and if we had the season I could for sure see myself as a leader for my team my junior year. Not only could you see my improvement on the field, but you could see it in the classroom also. Lacrosse has taught me that I could always work harder and do better.
