Tyler Swanson '21 Recruiting Profile

Coach,

Good day! 

My name is Tyler Swanson (aka Swanny) and my goal is to play college lacrosse as a goalie.  My academic goal is to major in physical therapy/sports medicine/exercise science.  Researching this major, I realize I need to go to graduate school to achieve this and I want to pursue this. 

I am a good candidate for your team as I am a low key person, I work hard, love lacrosse, connect well with my teammates, respect others, and I have a good attitude.  My coaches will tell you I work hard and show up to practices daily.  I also have a lot of upside in my lacrosse potential as all the Naperville Central HS lacrosse coaches were amazed with my improvement from freshman to sophomore season.  I was excited to hear this and it makes me want to get better.

What makes me different than other recruits is that I have played play high school football and baseball.  I like to help and encourage others, as I have volunteered in a non-profit organization that supports families in need in the Naperville area.
