What being apart of a team means to me:
I wanted to be a part of something, something that cherishes me, something that felt more than life itself. As I have looked back on the year I had with the Reitz team I realized that I am where I am supposed to be. The place and community that felt as though I was family. The place where if I missed a practice, at the next one they would check on me to make sure that I was okay. The place where I could feel as though I was on top of the world or as someone anchored to the bottom of the ocean. I believe that this is why I was looking towards religion but now that I have processed these thoughts I realized that lacrosse is my own religion, something to be passionate about, work hard at, and be a part of something bigger.
