My name is Austin Mecca, I am a 2023 Defender that is 17 years old and I have spent 9 years playing lacrosse from midfield to attack and now defense. I started as faceoff, but I switched to attack in 7th grade. Finally in 8th grade I switched to Long Stick Midfield where I found the position I was meant to play. I play LSM on Coastal Lacrosse Academy's 2023 team and at Parkside High School for Varsity. I have gained 266 hours of volunteer service hours through working at the YMCA and helping out the younger generation and staying in touch with the community around me. I pride myself in my level of commitment and determination to everything that I do from school, to lacrosse, to work, and to hobbies like music.
