My name is Shane Fries, I am a senior and attend Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School. Playing college lacrosse has been a dream of mine ever since I picked up the stick for the first time. In following my siblings footsteps, I strive to be the best I can be whether that be on or off the field. My goals in regards to preparing for college are to become faster and stronger as well as doing my best to perfect my stick skills. In regards to athletics, I am the captain of my upcoming high school lacrosse team, and finished my junior year with 50 points; 34 goals and 16 assists. I was named an Enterprise All-Scholastic as a midfielder, as well as Maritime League All Star. I recently competed at the Elite 100 showcase at Endicott College and was selected to play for the All Star team there. I have also been a member of the football team for four years as I play safety and receiver. In relation to academics, I am interested in studying engineering in college. I currently have a 4.3 GPA and I am a member of the National Honor Society. I am currently enrolled in AP and accelerated courses throughout all subjects. I hope to attend a college which best suites my balance of academics and athletics, however, I am open to many options.
