Winning the Massachusetts Division 1 state lacrosse championship freshman year in 2018 was the highlight of the year. That team gave us plenty of well-rounded student-athletes to look up to and model ourselves after. After leaving such a strong impression in Massachusetts about our school's accomplishments, we had high expectations the following year. We had a slow start to the season and ended up feeling very disconnected from the previous year. I felt I grew most as a person this past year because it led me to focus more on my own personal efforts to become a better defenseman, capable of participating at the college level.
Although sophomore year did not bring us another state championship, I learned how important teamwork and commitment are to the development of a true team. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically and challenge me academically. Because of this past season, I now have the commitment, work-ethic and leadership to impact your program. As a three-sport athlete, a captain, and a role model inside school, I know I have what it takes to be a leader on your team.
