I was lucky enough to be introduced to the game of lacrosse at the young age of five by an ex-Airforce player and coach, Tom Duggan. I immediately fell in love and ever since I've been playing as much as possible to be the best player I can be. Following youth programs and camps in Rhode Island and the Berkshires, I've played for several clubs teams in the greater Berkshire / Albany region, including the Berkshire Knights, Albany Power, and Sweetlax Albany Stags for the past two years. I'm currently heading into my junior season as captain of the team at Lenox Memorial Middle and High School where I am also captain of the varsity soccer team. As my dad has told me many a time, I am at my happiest with a stick in my hand and a field full of players in front of me.
I am a very versatile player who enjoys every aspect of lacrosse whether that be offense or defense. My style of play is very team-oriented and my greatest strengths are getting ground balls, moving the ball around, and finding the open man for an assist. My coaches have told that me I see the whole field well and have the quick judgment to both clear and orchestrate plays very effectively. I am a very determined player who never stays on the ground for very long and will continue to do something until I get it right. This includes always holding my head high after either a win or a loss and making sure my teammates do the same. Because I truly want to learn on and off the field, my coachability will be my most valuable asset to a college team.
I value both education and athletics very highly, and will do anything to elevate both my game and education to the next level.
