Gabriel Chong '24 Recruiting Profile

I believe what makes me stand out stand out from others is my attitude of perseverance. Despite the multitude of obstacles that I have come across in my High School career I have found the resilience to persevere. Despite the challenges I had in front of me I was able to get to the field and always give one hundred percent of myself for my team. I am able to play multiple positions as I was switched to long pole defense my senior year from two way midfielder in order to help my team with the lack of defensive players and have been a strong asset to the defense. I believe with my resilience to overcome obstacles, my ability to learn quickly, my natural talent on the field as well as my strong communication skills will make me an asset to the team. 

Although I have not had the strongest career academically I have substantial goals for myself both on and off the field. I look to pursue and excel with a degree in business to pursue my goal of entrepreneurship while excelling on the field as a long stick defender with the possibility of obtaining a spot in the PLL.

I believe with my willingness to succeed and ability to adapt and desire to excel in life will make me a great asset to both the school and the team. 

I have come across a lot of obstacles regarding me getting onto the field. But at the start of every game in acceptance of one I was always suited up and ready to play. 

My aspirations for my college career are to pursue a degree in business and to beCOME A BETTER PLAYER AND ENCOURGE MY TEAMATES TO BE BETTER PLAYERS. I AM TO GIVE MY ALL BOTH ON AND OFF THE FIELD.
