Growing up, I played baseball but I quickly found it too slow for me. When lacrosse became introduced to me it was like, "Why didn't I start playing sooner?" I have been playing lacrosse as my main sport for nine years now and I have put in the effort and time to get where I am today. Even as a freshman on my varsity team, I never shied away from helping teammates improve their game in any possible way. I work on my game year round, and I make sure I am the best I can be to help to my team. It is important to me that I go hard all the time so I can help my team succeed while also pushing my teammates to give 100 percent too. In the end, hard work and dedication pays off and it has for me. I was an Honorable Mention All-Star as a sophomore and a Captain going into my junior year.
Lacrosse and academics are very important to me. I have developed a strong work ethic so I can achieve in the classroom and on the field. In addition, I am a Type-I Diabetic which I also manage. It has made me a very responsible individual. My friends and teammates always depend on me to help and be supportive with what they may need.
I am looking forward to the challenges that college will bring to me in the next chapter in my life.
