Personal Statement
- My name is Alex McBurrows. I'm entering my senior year this fall 2020. I've been playing lacrosse since I was nine years of age. From the very beginning I have played defense. Over the last few years I have played for a travel lacrosse team and each year we receive a player and performance review. Consistently, my strengths have been identified as my attitude, effort, play off the ground, strong handling, and stick skills. I've been told that I have a high lacrosse IQ. While I'm undecided regarding my collegiate goals and aspirations, I do know that I love the sport of lacrosse. My academic and lacrosse goals are to attend a college that is a good fit for me and play defense on a team where I can grow as an athlete and play with strong coaches and players.
