My parents told me at a young age that playing sports is important for not only your health but also builds character and friendships. With that being said, I have always been interested in sports and when my friend Alex asked me to play on his Lacrosse team in the second grade I was hooked. Lacrosse has taught me many things including discipline, commitment, and responsibility. I believe that these traits are just as important when it comes to school and running your life. I currently play football as a wide receiver and defensive back and basketball as a power forward. However, Lacrosse is the sport I love most. I believe my best assets as a Lacrosse player are dodging, getting to ground balls and defense. My height seems to help me when it comes to swim moves over a defender and scoring also. My main goals for Lacrosse are to continue to improve in all aspects of the sport and hoping this gives me the opportunity to play for a great College that also offers a great education.
My parents also told me the first priority is getting a good education and to major in something you like. If you like what you are doing you will do better than most. My goal is to find a college that fits me both academically and that allows me to play the sport I love. I continue to work hard in high school and to research a major that is going to fit me as a person. I believe if I focus on school, family, and sports that this combination will make me the best person I can be.
