William Henry Buice '23 Recruiting Profile

Being a spirited goalie, I can flip a switch to play aggressiveply.  Connecting with my defenders, reading into the attacks’ strengths and weakness to organize the defense is another one of my strengths.  Becoming a collegiate Lacrosse goalie is an aspiration of mine as I enjoy the sport and the camaraderie of being on a team.  My coaches have said they enjoy my leadership style where I lead from the crease despite not having a captain’s role and not seeking the limelight.

I have played as a varsity starter  since 9th grade.  And in my sophomore year I received the “Mr. Rock-a-chaw“ award which is a St. Stanislaus award equivalent  to an MVP award which is awarded to players who display proficiency on the field,  leadership qualities on and off the field and within the school building.  I have also received MaxPreps “Player of the Game” multiple  times.

Any program with which I am involved, I am loyal and fully committed.  I work hard at my craft and aspire to be the best for my team recognizing it is a team effort.
