I am Austin Rohweder and I play defense and LSM. I love to play lacrosse year round because I want to keep improving my game. I have a passion for playing and a great work ethic. I am a very coachable player and I communicate well with my teammates and coaches. My coaches are extremely important to me and they are my mentors and help me grow as a person and a player.
I have been named to the 2018, 2017 and 2016 (formerly Brine) National Lacrosse Classic North Carolina team. I have been on the Brine National Lacrosse Classic All Star team 2 years in a row in 2017 and 2016. I was named to the 2018 NC Powerade State Games East team in June and our team won the gold medal. I am a volunteer lacrosse coach with Endless Sports at YMCA's Camp High Hopes during the summer and fall. I strive to be a good student and I am in the National Honor Society. I was a co-captain for my high school team in 2018 and I will be a senior captain in 2019. I am a leader on and off the field.
My goal is to play lacrosse at a college where I can contribute to the program's success on and off the field and also reach my academic goals.
