Kade Kinen '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Kade Kinen, most people know me as Kusz.  I currently play for the Sarpy County Knights as their goalie on varsity.  Our league/team is small, which from time to time need to fill in on the JV team .   I am able to play defense and offense and take faceoffs; I prefer goalie.

I am a good student who needs very little assistance with school and keep myself to a good schedule to help with time management. My teachers report I am one of the hardest workers in the classroom, always willing go the extra mile and they consider me an ideal student.

Nebraska is not a hot bed area for lacrosse, because of this I have had to go outside of the state a lot for training and camps.  I have also had to rely on online training videos to keep my skills fresh.  I am in the yard training daily, working on my reflexes, goalie footwork, speed, and strength in the weight room.

I've had to teach myself a lot of things if I am not able to get to a camp. It has made me very adaptable player.   I am very coachable, and my coaches appreciate that I am the first one at practice and one of the last to leave.  I immerse information very fast and apply it to my game whenever I can when I get redirection from coaches.

I am the first one to call teammates to go work on our skills or do wall ball.  Lacrosse helped me come out of shell, I quickly learned the goalie needs to take on the leadership role when my high school team needs me.   I'm humble, congratulate my opponents, teammate, refs and coaches. 

As far as college goes, I am looking for a school that has Entrepreneurship/Business/Marketing programs.   As much as want to play lacrosse past high school, my number one goal is to achieve an education and graduate with a degree.
