I have been playing lacrosse since I was 6 years old. I loved the sport so much that in middle school, I asked my parents to sign me up for club lacrosse so that I could play all year. I am a three-sport athlete playing football and basketball as well. When I was younger, I also played baseball, soccer and wrestled all while playing lacrosse, football and basketball.
On the field I work hard to make a difference in every play offensively and defensively. Ground balls and assists all lead to goals. My athleticism, speed and agility give me an advantage over opponents, and I think my experience playing other sports like soccer, football and basketball has helped me to develop into the lacrosse player I am today. I am confident dodging at full speed with my head up and shooting on the run. My overall on field IQ and athleticism creates opportunities for my teammates to be successful.
On the field and in the locker room I lead by example, am very coachable and strive to be the hardest worker. In the classroom, I maintain I high GPA A averaage. I am a school Peer Leader and volunteer in my community. Recently I attended a mission trip to build houses for Habitat for Humanity and make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the homeless through the Cathedral Kitchen. I have been honored with selection to the National Honor Society this year. I was recently also selected to the Student-Athlete Leadership Team (S.A.L.T) at my High School. Selected to Head Coach the Jr. Girls Powder Puff team and helped raise $2100 for the Adam Taliaferro Foundation.
I would like to attend a college where I can continue to work hard to excel academically and athletically. I am open to all options but ultimately want to find a college where I can study and compete at the highest level possible. I hope to continue being a leader and make my parents, coaches and peers proud.
