My name is Hunter Luyber. I am currently in my Junior year at Southern Regional High School. My goal is to play college lacrosse at a highly competitive level along while attending a strong academic university. I have been told that I am an extremely coachable player, and give my all during practice and games. I also dedicate several hours a week in the training room and on my own, working on my stick skills, and improving my athleticism. I approach the game from an unselfish standpoint striving to the do the all so important "little things" required from a long pole to help the team win. In the classroom, I constantly persue academic excellence. As you can see from my transcript, I am taking 3 AP classes to include History, Physics and US History, along with Honors Trig/Precalculus. Outside of school and lacrosse, I participate in a number of various activities to include, fishing, surfing for my high school team , and volunteering. I volunteered at various community events and at the local library, but my favorite prior to Covid was assisting in recreational activity at the assisted living residence of my grandmother.
