Matt Mechkowski '22 Recruiting Profile

I'm looking for an institution that can challenge me intellectually and physically  to further help me in pursing my life goals. 

As part of a lacrosse team I look to be the best teammate possible. I lead by example on and off the field. During practice I make it a point to focus on every single rep, be the first one back for drills after a break and arrive on time ready to improve in the weight room. During gameplay I value team contribution over individual performance. I look to participate in hustle plays like groundballs, short stick defense, maintaining possession or assisting in transition offense. Most of all I try to maximize the things I can control through maintaining a good attitude, giving maximum effort in practice and showing respect for those dedicating their time to improve me as a player and the collective team.
