From a very young age, I have always had a passion for sports. Growing up, I was constantly watching my 3 older brothers play sports. I went to almost every single one of their high school and college games and I would always enjoy watching them. My brothers were the reason I started to love the game of lacrosse. My oldest brother Matthew went to Paramus Catholic High School where he played football and lacrosse. And ultimately he got an offer from West point to play football at the division 1 level. He ended up becoming the captain of the football team his senior year. Now, he is serving in the Army. I Definitely learned a lot from him and he showed me what it takes to play a sport at such a high level. My other brother Tyler played football, basketball, and lacrosse in high school and he ended up going to Utica where he played football for 1 year and lacrosse for 4 years. Watching him play was the first times I experienced lacrosse at the collegiate level. Everyone was so much better at the game and that made me want to get even better. Lastly, my brother Sam played football and lacrosse in high school as well and now he is playing lacrosse at Saint Rose where he is going into his third year. All around my brothers taught me and showed me how to become the best athlete that I could possible become. Whether it was in football, basketball, or lacrosse, they would always strive to be the best. And that all rubbed off on me. They taught me what it takes to become a great athlete. I am competitive and hard working and I am always working on my craft. Whether it is playing for a team or just playing in the backyard, I am always working to become better.
Although lacrosse is very important to me, my academics are as well. As a freshman, I held a 98 average the entire year. And I was also taking accelerated classes for my age. I have always strived to be better in the classroom and I am constantly working to stay ahead of the game. With all that being said, I hope I can find a school to help me advance my education and also give me the opportunity to play lacrosse at the next level.
