The obligations my parents have held me to my whole life have been fundamental in helping me meet the demands of school, work, and sports to maintain a healthy balance in every aspect of my life. There have certainly been challenges along the way, such as the pandemic, however, I feel those challenges are what have helped me gain a new understanding of myself and others. I know that with each obstacle I may encounter, it pushes me to work that much harder to do better, be better. I value the importance of being a team player while continuing to develop my own personal skills. I have always been able to translate my growth from being a student in the classroom to being a leader in the goal on the Lacrosse field. In goal, I feel that I am the eyes on the field guiding my teammates into better positions when they can’t see what is going on around them. Communication at all times with my defense is key in helping my teammates gain control of the ball and get it back down field on offense.
I look forward to being part of a college lacrosse team that will provide a competitive environment to continue to develop my athletic skills to support my team, in addition to receiving an education that will support my future.
