I'm a strong competitor on and off of the field that dreams of playing collegiate lacrosse while pursuing an Engineering degree. I'm a hardworking, driven scholar athlete that has endured the difficult circumstances of the death of my father, Retired NYPD officer Andrew Lewis on March 5th, 2017 due to 9/11 related cancer. While most would've shut themselves down the day after burying their father, I didn't, I got on the bus and traveled to the New York State Science Olympiad competition where I earned medals in two events. I came back home to my team after missing the first week of practice and led our team to the #1 defense in Suffolk county as well as reaching the Suffolk county Championship game with a 15-2 record. I earned First team All-County honors and am a passionate player and teammate. I hope to be able to bring my passion and determination to make my father proud to the next level.
