Versatile, dedicated, hard working, team player: these are words I would use to describe myself. I have participated in athletics for as long as I can remember. Having lived in South Carolina until moving to NY my freshman year, I came to the sport of lacrosse later than some. While swimming was my first sport, lacrosse has won me over completely. I sincerely hope to be able to continue playing lacrosse at the collegiate level. I love lacrosse; I love that it is a team sport. I love the fast paced tempo of the sport.
A student-athlete my whole life, I have learned that success in the classroom or on the playing field requires giving my all. I will always give 110% for my team, my coach, my school. I also firmly believe that as a player the people that matter most when you are on the field are your teammates which is why I am dedicated to getting to know my team and to never let them down. Win or lose, I will always give it my all till the last bell rings. My versatility stems from my ability to play at many different positions, like long-stick midfield, short-stick defense, as well as close defense and faceoffs. The combined effort of my versatility, my dedication, my work ethic, and my team first mentality make me the best player for your team.
