I have dreamt of playing lacrosse at the collegiate level for years, and I am always pushing myself to reach those goals whether it be on the field or in the classroom. Ever since I was pulled up to my school's varsity team after helping my team win a county championship, I have been more motivated than ever to fulfill my potential as a player. My coaches have taught me many great life lessons that go beyond the game, such as holding myself and others accountable, buying into a team, always lifting your teammates up when they may be down, and being a leader by doing the small things, even if they go unnoticed. Being a multi-sport athlete has also taught me the importance of conditioning and versatility in an athlete. I plan to take the many valuable lessons I have learned from my coaches to any team or school I am a part of. I consider myself a team first player and would rather get the win than put up big numbers. I think one of the things that sets me apart from other athletes is my ability to keep pushing myself and to never be satisfied with being good, because I want to be great.
