Nick Matthes 2022...Personal Statement
Hi I am Nicholas Matthes, I am a right handed goalie with quick feet and fast hands. I play for Smithtown High School East varsity lacrosse and for Team United 2022 coached by Josh Marksberry. I am also on the varsity Football team. I work hard on and off the field by showing up to practice early and getting in the extra reps. When I'm off the field I workout 3-4 times a week at the gym. Also, when I'm not practicing with my team I am training with my goalie trainer every week. I have taken 3 honors classes and 3 AP classes. Next year I plan on taking AP Calculus AB and Honors Physics. In college I want to major in biology/science and plan to go to dental school to be an Orthodontist. When I am not on the field I enjoy hanging out with my friends, going to the beach, and going on vacation.
