Ryan Rooney '23 Recruiting Profile

I've been playing lacrosse since 2nd grade, and sought out higher competition at the club level beginning in the 4th grade. I have consistently been a starting attackman across all the teams I have played with, and on many of these teams I have been named a captain.  I primarily play attack from the X position, and strive to achieve a balance between scoring goals and feeding my teammates.  I am also consistently placed on the extra man offense, and frequently the primary shooter in these sets.

My current and previous coaches frequently compliment me on my coachability and game IQ. I work very hard a team practices and equally hard on my own time to apply what my coaches have taught me and further develop my skills. My work ethic is also applied in the classroom where I maintain a 3.6 GPA.
