I am an only child being raised by my Mom, Dad and my grandmother. They have spent the past 14 years teaching me to work hard, grades matter, be a leader, and most importantly be a good person. I became interested in the sport of lacrosse through my dad who put a stick in my hand when I was five, coached my town team through 8th grade and continues to teach and support me in my journey to be the best player I can be. Through the years, I have learned that there is always something I can get better at, that I excel when I am challenged by the best, and that I enjoy being a part of a team and the friendship/team spirit that comes with that. In my position at attack, I am recognized for having great stick skills, excelling inside and with the assist. I am right handed but play dominant left-hand lacrosse, which means I am naturally strong from both sides of the cage.
Academically I am an A student, have been on honor roll and taken honors classes, excelling in math and language. My goal for high school is to keep my G.P.A. at a level that will allow me to attend the college of my choice and hopefully play the sport that I love at that school. My interest is to major in accounting or international business. I am looking for a school that is a good fit for me academically, as well as athletically.
Outside of lacrosse, I pursue my other passion which is playing electric guitar. I have been playing since the age of six and am currently a member of the School of Rock, Orangeburg, NY, where I take lessons and play with bands in local venues. In the summer, I volunteer at the SOR helping with the summer camps and the young musicians. My other interest is learning to speak a second language: Japanese. I am in my third year of language at school and I am fortunate enough to have my grandmother, who is Japanese, help me reach my goal of being bilingual by the time I graduate.
