I am a Asian American student-athlete from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I pride myself in not only being a strong competitor on the field, but also in the classroom. I have been playing Lacrosse for a little over 10 years and I have learned many things that have impacted such as the important values of teammates, collaboration, and competitive nature. Having a leadership role my sophomore year has helped build who I am and showed me the game in other perspectives. I have learned what it means to lead a team through adversity and victory. I was awarded the Offensive MVP for my high school, but this was not enough, as I am determined to earn All-State honors and to play my best for my teammates, coaches, and myself. This leadership role that I am honored to have has showed me the importance of a strong work ethic, competitiveness, and the "want" to win. It has also helped me prepare myself in the classroom, and maintain a 4.43 GPA.
The sport of lacrosse has given me more than I can ask for. I have been given friends, memories, mentors, and lessons that will, and have shaped my life. I want to play at the next level and I believe that I can be a leader anywhere on the field, and make an impact at any program.
