Hello, I my name is Jackson Collins, I attend Jay M Robinson high school in Concord, NC. I started playing lacrosse in the 7th grade (2013) and fell in love with the game and have played summer and fall competitive travel each year. I have also played winter indoor box lacrosse for the past three years. I played on my school's Club team as a freshman, sophomore and Junior. I also played competitive club lacrosse with Top Tier in Concord, NC, for the past four years. My parents have been a positive influence in my life and have provided me with opportunities to better myself and explore different things. I have been involved with Scouting since age 6 and received my Eagle Scout rank in 2016. I have always tried to live my life according to the scout oath and law and enjoy the opportunities to use the leadership skills that I have gained in Scouting. Playing Lacrosse has enabled me to become more confident in my abilities to overcome adversity, it has proved to me that by working on fundamentals I can become a more effective player. Lacrosse has taught me how to be a team player and to stay calm under pressure. It has also taught me the value of hard work and the strength of determination. I never miss an opportunity to play lacrosse whether it’s in school, my summer travel teams, fall ball or indoor. My academic goals are to graduate High School with a strong GPA that will give me the opportunity to choose from a variety of colleges that will allow me to complete my studies and play competitive lacrosse. I plan to complete Air Force ROTC while in college and serve my country after college as an Air Force officer.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a more about me.
