One of my major goals is to attend an accredited University and combine my passion for lacrosse with academics in a college setting. My academic interests include World History, Civics, and Political Science. I plan to pursue one of these topics or a closely related field as a major course of study in college. I played midfielder for 6 years and have recently converted to the position of goalie this past year. I have played several Club Lacrosse Age Divisions for Pitt County Youth Lacrosse (NC) and have enjoyed very successful seasons against teams from across the State. I also played for Carolina Flight (U15 Travel Team) and Coastal Surge (U19) Travel Team and played teams from other States across the region. I am currently the starting goalie for my High School Varsity Team. As a goalie, I led the conference with lowest Goals Against Average (9.6) and third in Save Percentage (401). I am a Team Leader and put my Team and Teammates ahead of myself. I have a very strong character and have battled and defeated a serious illness (Hodgkins Lymphoma) which allowed me to overcome adversity and learn to appreciate how important everyday is. My experience as a midfielder has allowed me to become an accomplished goalie and I have the speed and agility to out run opposing attackmen and create unique offensive opportunities down field on fast breaks.
