Personal Statement

I aspire to be the best player at my position, and I believe playing at the highest level and against the highest levels of competition will help me get there. I love the competitive nature and strategic aspect of the game. However, I also enjoy the bonds that are made with teammates through championships. We treat each other as brothers, and push each other to the limits during practice. I use my loud voice to call plays, and tell my teammates how to get into position. I love being the commander of the defense to call out plays, positioning, and to enforce communication.

Club Information

  • Seasons of Club Experience
  • 5 seasons
  • 2021 True Lacrosse (State)
  • This was the last season I played for True Lacrosse State, whereas we were moving to Tennessee later in the Summer. I got moved up to (AA) during the Winter season of the previous year. I decided to play both Spring and Summer during the 2021 season to get the most out of the program before we moved. I still did camps with Coach Buetikofer to get ready for High School lacrosse, and played in part of the tournaments during the Summer.
  • 2020 True Lacrosse (State)
  • I tried out for the True Lacrosse State team again and made the team. I played and started on the (A) State team. I found a new group of friends on my team, and went to many tournaments out of state. We played many other travel (A) state teams. I played the Winter and Summer seasons for this team, and played on a local team in the Spring. During the Winter season, I got moved up to (AA) for State True Lacrosse.
  • 2019 True Lacrosse (Regional)
  • This was my third year in True Lacrosse. I got suggested by Coach Buetikofer to try out for True Lacrosse State. I didn't make the team the first time around, but was determined to try again next year. I continued the year by starting on the highest level for the regional team.
  • 2018 True Lacrosse (Regional)
  • This was my second year at True Lacrosse. I got moved up to the higher level of the two, and started on defense. I started working with Coach Buetikofer on position skills and techniques to further my effectiveness on the field.
  • 2017 True Lacrosse (Regional)
  • This was the first year I played True Lacrosse for the West Warriors. I had to get used to the increased competition among the different club teams, whereas everything was travel. We would go to numerous different tournaments in different neighboring states to play the different travel club teams. I started on the lower of the two levels to get used to using a longpole on defense.
