I started playing lacrosse in the fourth grade and it was a really great way to meet new friends after I had just moved. I've moved a lot over my life and it has helped me tremendously, I have learned how to get to know new people very fast, learn how to fit into a new environment but most of all moving has shown me to stay true to myself with everything around me changing. During my 8th grade year our lacrosse team was not very good, and it was hard to not just give up and forget about that season. But that has helped me realize that not everything you do is going to go well, even if you do try your hardest. It showed me that you have to endure through it all and work harder to become better. When you face adversity like that, it helps you grow as a person such as in your character, leadership and your attitude. Sports have taught me valuable life lessons that I could really only understand through my mistakes but also through my accomplishments.
Going through school I have really grown in an interest of engineering and law. I attend a private christian school which as been an amazing experience. It challenges our students with high standards that help us to exceed. My school has helped me grow not only academically but also individually, it has given me a greater outlook on the world around me and has really helped me grow into a better person. It is also preparing me for college in social and academic ways. We are given a lot of freedom and it is upon us to really excel in school, but also they are helping show us what it will be like to go to college by their curriculum. My school has also provided many ways to help serve in the community and it has given me a great appreciation for how much I have and it has also been a great experience to help impact our environment in a positive way.
