My name is Gavyn Norwood and I am a 2025 Attackmen from Dallas, Texas. I play for Hebron High School Varsity, Louisiana Elite, 3D Texas Box Lacrosse & Panther City Box Lacrosse Club. My goal has always been to go to the highest level in sports and academically. I’m a great team player and control the field very well. I am a very physical player that will put my body on the line to get the best play and I hold myself to a very high standard. I give 110% in all I do!
I am passionate about being the strongest and best athlete I can be. I'll be one of the hardest-working on the field. I love to surprise everyone with a quick attack and goal. I was voted Offensive MVP by my high school team as a Sophomore. My high school team won the 2024 state championship and I received Offensive MVP of the game. I was All District for 2022 Freshman year & 2023 Sophomore year. I also was All State my Junior year.
My faith is important to me so I will always do my best to honor God on and off the field. My aspirations are to go to a university that I am proud to attend and continue my education. I always work hard for every coach and strive to be a leader. I am dedicated and continue to improve my skillset in preparation to play lacrosse at the collegiate level. I have a very good balance between my school work and life balance. I put in a lot time into my studies to maintain the highest GPA. I really enjoy Physical Fitness, Math, Language Arts and Science . I am very excited to take this next step in my academics and lacrosse.
