I've played many sports while growing up and I have been playing lacrosse since I was 10 years old, and I started playing year-round lacrosse 3 years later. I have wanted to play college lacrosse ever since I learned that college lacrosse existed.
I have very strong stick skills as well as a solid understanding of the game both defensively and offensively. I have been told by many of my coaches over the years that I am a natural defender and that I am very coachable.
The high school I attend is the High School for Visual and Performing Arts (HSPVA, which is a College Prep School) where I am a vocalist in the Varsity Chamber Choir, Madrigals and YP. My school does not have sports so I play for the Langham Creek HS Lobos, and Texas Legacy Lacrosse Select Club. To compensate for the lack of athletic conditioning in my school, I go to CrossFit and play intramural basketball. My academic load includes Pre-AP and AP classes while maintaining my GPA. I also believe that it is important to give back to the community so I volunteer at least 40 hours a year through my church and school opportunities.
I want to attend a college that offers a variety of degree programs, where I can pursue a major and be part of a Lacrosse program that pushes me to become a greater lacrosse player and contribute to the success of the team.
