This year was a new challenge for me as I was the only starter returning on the attack. As a third year starter and team captain with a new head coach I had a lot to learn and teach at the same time. Individually I lead the team in goals & shooting percentage and was second in total offensive points and earned our Offensive Player of the Year Award. I was also chosen to the THSLL South District Division II All State Team. This season we won our second district title by going undefeated in district play but failed to advance in the city tournament. Proud of this as I was, I was equally proud of the development of the teams new offensive line. My fellow attackmen finished the year with total offensive points very close to mine. As the year progressed so did our coordination with the middies with a new offensive style. I look forward to next season when all three attack starters return.
This summer I'll be working out with my school team and a select club team. No tournaments are on my schedule as I will be holding down a summer job.
My goal is to play lacrosse at the collegiate level and it does not matter what division or conference.
